Share the Dignity

Share the Dignity supports women and girls in need due to poverty, homelessness or domestic violence. This year Cherrybrook Anglican Church is helping to support these women.

You can help

We are collecting at Cherrybrook Village Shops.

  • There are 7 essential items to include – shampoo, conditioner, soap or body wash, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, sanitary items

  • Placing items that could leak in a zip lock bag is helpful

  • The essential items are very important

  • You can add lots of plus hair ties, facial wipes, tissues, moisturiser, skin care products, make up, jewellery, notebook and pen, cosmetic bag, socks, scarf, hat, water bottle, towel etc

  • All items that go in the bags need to be new or unused

Where does it end up?

  • Share the Dignity feeds into many charities and the donations we are collecting will be going to Anglicare Sydney for them to distribute to women in need that seek their help and services

  • Anglicare supported 25,000 people last year of which 87% are women who are experiencing financial hardship, stress and disadvantage. 58% of those seeking support have children and are from single parent households
