Fridge Term 4 2022

There are many "gospels" - good news messages - out there in the world today.

We're told that if we live out our true, authentic selves, then we will be happy.

Or that if we do well in school, get into a good uni degree, find a job that pays well, then we will be happy.

Or that if we find love - that special someone who truly completes us, then we will be happy.

The Apostle Paul wrote a letter to the churches in Galatia because there is only one gospel, only one "good news" message out there, and the Galatian churches were abandoning it!

The good news is that Jesus has rescued us! This is truly good news, because we don't need to do anything to earn God's favour or find blessing. Just trust that Jesus has done it for us!

We start on Friday 14th Oct and we finish on Friday 16th December with an end of year party!

16 Dec is our end of year party! We will say goodbye to our year 12s and have a great time hanging out together!

Both nights are completely free - just come along and check out Fridge before you start year 6!

Term 4 2022

In term 4 2022 our Crosstrainers group will be learning how to listen to sermons!

We'll be using the excellent booklet "Listen Up! A Practical Guide to Listening to Sermons" by Christopher Ash.

We'll spend 2 weeks during the term practicing what we've been learning by staying in the main church service with the adults and listening to a sermon!
